NOTICE TO STUDENTS Starting Monday, the campus library will stay open until 10 p.m. on weekdays, two hours later than its current closing time. The extension applies to the ground-floor reading room only. Book borrowing and staff assistance will still end at 8 p.m.
The change is a six-week trial prompted by requests for quiet evening study space. Students entering after 8 p.m. must use the east entrance and show a campus ID. Food is not permitted in the reading room, but drinks in closed containers are allowed. A survey at the end of the trial will help the library decide whether to continue the extended hours.
